“My invincible mother is test negative.” These words are those of a girl who was raised after her mother tested negative for Covid-19. A legitimate but classic reaction, behind which lies a story that is much less so. CNN reports that the mother in question, an American named Angelina Friedman, is 102 years old and has already survived Covid-19 twice.
In March, the centenarian first contracted the novel coronavirus while hospitalized for a small operation. She isolated at home for a week and alternated with and without temperature for a month before testing negative in mid-April.
But in late October, she found out she was positive for Covid-19 again. After having a fever and cough, she finally tested negative on November 17th.
The life of this centenary has already been sown by a series of pitfalls. She was born in 1918, aboard a boat carrying Italian migrants to New York, in the midst of the Spanish flu pandemic. It is not known that she contracted this disease as a child. As a child she did not know her mother, who died giving her life.
During his life, he had other health problems including internal bleeding and sepsis. While her husband did not survive cancer, Angelina managed to defeat her cancer, such as Covid-19.
