The impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on hospital services continues to decline. According to the latest Public Health France daily report, 3,415 patients are in intensive care this Thursday evening, up from 3,478 the day before and 4,018 seven days ago. There are 184 new serious cases.
In total, 26,675 people are treated in French hospitals, up from 26,986 on Wednesday and 29,310 a week ago. There are 1,450 new admissions.
326 new deaths were also recorded in the hospital. This brings the total number of disappearances in France to 54,140, of which 37,326 in hospitals.
12,696 new cases identified
This downward trend is also illustrated by laboratories and screening centers. In the last 24 hours, 12,696 positive cases for Covid-19 have been detected, 2,039 through antigen tests.
There were 14,064 cases the day before. The test positive rate also dropped: 10.7%, compared to 10.8% on Wednesday.
