When Scott Emberton (Tom Roberts) on Coronation Street broke down the doors of the bistro and kept everyone at gunpoint, he left many characters fearing for their lives.

Scott wanted Ray Crosby’s (Mark Frost) money and was ready to do whatever it takes to get it, including threatening to shoot Faye Windass (Ellie Leach).

Luckily for Faye, Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) aka her knight in shining armor (or police officer in a high visibility jacket) came around the corner and saved her life, but was shot by Scott during the his life-saving move.

We’ve seen Faye a lot lately. She has been involved in Geoff’s (Ian Bartholomew) drama as she continues to interfere in the life of Faye and her family, and has also been in many scenes with Ray while working shifts at the restaurant.

With Ray continuing his plan to destroy the road to make way for his new development in the 1960sth Anniversary week, we’re starting to wonder if Faye working for Ray is going to get much worse than she already is, and as Ray prepares to demolish Weatherfield, will Faye find herself in danger?

Let’s take a look at what happened recently on the cobbles and why it could play a key role in the week of celebration next month …

Poor Faye felt sorry for herself after she was dumped by boyfriend Noah, but it didn’t take long before Craig swooped in and cheered her up, and since saving Faye from being shot, the two have come closer.

Craig is a protective person; we know this after she aided Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) during her healing storyline. While the upcoming scenes will see Craig uncovering Ray’s ideas for redevelopment, could the protagonist be concerned that Faye may be at some kind of risk in Ray’s company?

If so, it wouldn’t surprise us if he ended up telling her about Ray’s secret plan.

Craig knows that Ray is disreputable, but there is also something that bothers him: he can’t understand why he doesn’t like the businessman and he certainly doesn’t know the true extent of what Ray can do when someone presses. its buttons.

If Craig ended up telling Faye about the plans he found, she would inadvertently throw herself into some rather hot water. Ray will no doubt try to buy Craig’s silence, potentially using his career as a police officer to his advantage.

However, if nothing works and Craig sees what Ray is trying to do, things could take a turn and Ray could use Faye against Craig, blackmailing him and saying he’ll hurt her if he doesn’t shut up.

From the moment Ray stepped onto the cobbles, we quickly discovered his creepy and seedy personality. He tried to get Michelle (Kym Marsh) to sign a gag order after he offered her to have sex and she refused, and attempted a similar thing with Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) but with the help of Bethany and Abi (Sally Carman), they were able to expose her true nature.

Since Ray seems to think he has some sort of control over women, Faye could be in serious danger if she announces to Ray that she is aware of her latest business idea. Will Ray have Faye sign her gag order?

Yasmeen’s (Shelley King) trial will be one of the storylines taking place during the anniversary week, which means that due to Geoff’s involvement, it’s pretty much inevitable that we’ll see a lot of Tim (Joe Duttine), Sally (Sally Dynevor) and Faye during the drama episodes. Ray’s plans and Yasmeen’s trial are two separate plots, but who could soon be associated with both? Faye. Just a coincidence? Maybe not.

After the shooting, Faye and Tim talked about how brave Craig was to stand in front of Faye to save her from getting hit. During the conversation, Tim mentioned as if she or Sally were ever in trouble, he’d like to think he’d be able to save them – maybe this is a harbinger of events to take place next month?

If Faye gets involved in Ray’s proposal to destroy his home and so many others, and continues to support her father as Geoff’s meddling continues, it’s very likely she is the one innocently involved in the gripping events that unfold in December.

Faye doesn’t have an extremely exciting job and in addition to her family problems, she has a fairly quiet life, which is why if Faye gets confused with Ray, the repercussions could be huge.

Now we know Debbie (Sue Devaney) is working with Ray, could all the shifts Faye is currently doing at the bistro play to her advantage, forcing her to overhear secret information between the two of them?

But if he discovers such vital information about the Pebbles’ future, will he tell someone and risk an angry Ray if he realizes that people are out to thwart his plans? Or will the danger Faye is in will be the result of someone else?

Geoff’s time on the cobblestones is slowly running out, and we already know it’s going to be a big part in the anniversary week due to Yasmeen’s trial, and to add Faye’s potential danger into the mix, maybe Geoff will be the one creating a situation in Which Faye is caught in the crossfire?

With Geoff’s exit looming, Faye perhaps finding herself in fear for her life courtesy of her grandfather might well plan her long-awaited departure.

Let’s not forget that Faye’s brother Gary (Mikey North) is also part of Ray’s team, so whatever danger the girl might find herself in over the next few weeks, she has the ability to transform into something even bigger involving. so many people, and – with Tim, life has already changed this year – his daughter getting hurt could change things forever.
