CoinGate, the Lithuania-based blockchain payment gateway has collaborated with an open-source e-commerce platform, PrestaShop based in Paris, France. It has joined forces with a reach of over 80,000 EU-based merchandise according to the announcement made on 20th March.

This tie-up will allow many online merchants to accept digital currencies as a payment mode. The integration of CoinGate services into the back-end of PrestaShop platform is a significant step in cryptocurrency adoption.
