The world’s first cryptocurrency livestream platform will be available just in time for the 2021 bull market.

Ran Neuner, host of CNBC’s Crypto Trader show, launched the first multimedia call channel dedicated exclusively to cryptocurrency. Dubbed Crypto Banter, the station offers a blend of news, views, interviews and live discussions with industry leaders.

Crypto Banter aims to be the first encryption-based streaming platform available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The new service is designed to provide viewers with an alternative source of “credible, real-time information” that can be accessed at any time without having to enter Crypto Twitter’s rabbit hole.

In an exclusive press release made available to Cointelegraph, Neunuer states:

“Banter is designed to bring Crypto Twitter and Telegram jokes to a credible and moderate AV medium. It is designed to filter out noise and transfer information that people can exchange on a live streaming medium.”

Crypto Banter, available on YouTube, is described as a mix between CNBC, the Joe Rogan Experience and talk on the radio. Interestingly, Neuner’s first Crypto Banter guest was Cointelegraph Weekend Editor Andrew Thurman.

Neuner has been educating the public about cryptocurrency and blockchain since 2017, when it first launched Crypto Trader on CNBC.

He moderated the 2019 debate between Bitcoin (BTC) backer Peter Schiff and Anthony Pompliano. At the time, Bitcoin was trading below $ 10,000. The flagship cryptocurrency hit over $ 18,800 last week, having gained 420% since Schiff accidentally called the bottom in March.

Although the pendulum for cryptocurrency adoption has apparently swung from retail to institutional investors, a platform like CryptoBanter is betting on growing consumer interest in digital assets. Cointelegraph asked Neuner for his thoughts on adopting cryptocurrency in the coming years. His response was:

“While we are seeing a large adoption of Bitcoin as a store of value and a cover against the USD press, the true adoption of Blockchain has not yet begun and will take several years.”

He added:

“For now there will be a lot of speculation about investing in this space. Money will be made and lost in minutes and up-to-date information is key. There is no live streaming today. […] CryptoBanter tries to fill this gap! “
