Nvidia will launch the RTX 3070 video card this week and we have already tested the new PC component. Built in the Ampere architecture, the GPU offers similar performance to the RTX 2080 Ti model, top of the range of the previous generation, but at half price.
With these features, the video card can offer 4K resolution gameplay and 60 frames per second with good value for money. Like other devices in the RTX line, the card also supports technologies such as Ray Tracing and DLSS.
The video above shows the RTX 3070 Founders Edition in action while running games such as Call of Duty Warzone, Battlefield V and Red Dead Redemption 2. The model tested is the Founders Edition, which is not sold in Brazil, but serves as a reference for models produced by other manufacturers.

In addition to games, the video card was also tested in benchmarks and rendering software, which shows the strength of the hardware in workloads. Applications that have surpassed RTX 3070 include Adobe Premiere CC 2020 and Blender.
It is worth mentioning that the video card is also compatible with Nvidia Broadcast, software that uses artificial intelligence to reduce noise and remove background images during recordings and live streams.
The RTX 3070 is a video card based on the Ampere architecture which has specifications that include 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM, 448GB / s bandwidth, frequency up to 1500MHz and 5,888 CUDA cores.

After being postponed, the launch of the video card is scheduled for October 29, the day after the AMD GPU event. The RTX 3070 has a suggested price of $ 499.
