Carlos Queiroz: farewell message to the Colombian National Team – International Football – Sport

The Portuguese Carlos Queiroz has stopped being the coach of Colombia after reaching an agreement with the leaders of the football federation of this country, after the goals the team received 0-3 with Uruguay and 6-1 with Ecuador in November for the qualifiers of the Qatar World Cup 2022.

The coach released a few words after his departure, in which he greeted the Colombian national team and thanked them for all the support received. Furthermore, he wished the country the best for what is to come.

“When saying goodbye isn’t easy, it means we only have reason to proudly express our enormous gratitude:

– For the opportunity and honor that the Colombian Football Federation and its president have granted me to serve the Colombian national team.

– For the trust, loyalty and privilege of having worked and directed people with such talent and dedication, from the players to the entire coaching staff, to whom I pay my respects for all the efforts and sacrifices for their best purpose.
