“Now I would like, with great respect to all of you, to help me carry out a campaign to retrieve the rings. That they take this message to as many people as they can and then reach out to those who may have some information that helps find them,” said the 53-year-old former athlete.
As he assured, the campaign does not seek “any kind of persecution of the people who have them, but rather that they understand that these objects are a precious part of Venezuela’s historical and sporting memory”.
