The use of two high precision molded aspherical glass lenses corrects spherical and comatic aberrations as well as astigmatism. At the same time, this allows you to keep the lens structure small. A combination of the most modern optical design with advanced processing technology completes this and helps the DG DN | 2 / 65mm Contemporary for its excellent optical performance and compact size.
Thanks to the successful control of spherical aberration, the lens offers beautiful bokeh, and the very low vignetting helps to contain lemon-shaped or swirling bokeh. This way, photographers have much better control over the blurry areas in their images when designing their subjects. Last but not least, Sigma’s standard anti-ghosting and anti-flare technology ensures high-end performance in backlight.

All I-series lenses have a pure metal construction.
