French newcomer Bouna Sarr is already talking about a return to his homeland.
The 28-year-old right-back joined the triple Monaco winner on Deadline Day from Marseille. His contract is dated until 2024. However, Bouna Sarr can very well imagine a return to France, more precisely to Olympique Marseille, as he explains to “téléfoot”: “Of course! Why not? It’s a club where I felt good. That’s where I took the decisive step. Fans may not always be indulgent, but they love this club. I miss you … Anything can happen. I am 28 years old and many years ahead of me. We’ll see.”
For France’s international matches in November, Didier Deschamps would be considering Sarr for the first time. However, he got injured in the main match against Borussia Dortmund and after consulting the Bavarian medical team, he was unable to move.
