Boerse Stuttgart Digital Ventures adds Raphael Polansky to the board of directors
Boerse Stuttgart, the second largest German stock exchange, has announced that Raphael Polansky has joined the board of directors of Boerse Stuttgart Digital Ventures GmbH, which leads the digitalization strategy of the Boerse Stuttgart group.
Boerse Stuttgart Digital Ventures GmbH develops innovative business models for exchange trading and over-the-counter (OTC) trading of fungible products. It also invests in promising startups and enters into partnerships with selected partners to implement its digitization strategy.
Polansky joined Boerse Stuttgart in September 2018 and has held various management positions in the IT department since then. Previously, he worked for Deutsche Börse AG since 2009, among other things as Head of trading, clearing and data control and as Project Manager in the IT executive office.
“Boerse Stuttgart Digital Ventures plays an important role in our growing digital business areas,” said Alexander Höptner, chairman of the board of Boerse Stuttgart GmbH. “Our goal is to create an end-to-end global ecosystem for digital assets based on blockchain technology. We are delighted that Raphael Polansky is now contributing to this endeavor as CEO.”
