A hostage situation may have occurred in Montreal on Friday afternoon. This is what the regional media reported.

A video shared on Twitter shows armed police hiding behind a police vehicle on the blocked road. The “Journal de Montréal” reports that the employees of the Ubisot game developer are seeking protection on the roof of the company. Other companies also have their offices in the building.
An eyewitness told “TVA Nouvelles”: “We see about 50 people on the roof”. According to the broadcaster, some employees barricaded themselves in the conference rooms.
