Tim Stuart, Xbox chief financial officer, said Xbox will not limit Bethesda games to consoles alone. The sole purpose is to highlight the Bethesda library for Xbox platforms, including the Game Pass.
“We have no intention of extracting any Bethesda content from Sony or Nintendo or whatever”
It was one of the responses many expected after Microsoft acquired ZeniMax Media and Bethesda Softworks in late September. Luckily for everyone, Xbox doesn’t run on an exclusive business model.
Conversely, Tim Stuart also claims that Xbox encourages gamers to use multiple gaming platforms. If everyone wins, it makes sense for Xbox to win.
“We strongly encourage cross-platform play, simply from this landscape of, if it’s good for the gaming ecosystem, it’s good for us, the classic rising tide lifts all boats.”
However, we can expect everything Bethesda intends to be rated “Best of Game Pass”. Future titles too.

Recently, Phil Spencer said Microsoft “must” consider future acquisitions. He wants to expand the library of games available on Xbox so that everyone can find their favorite games there.
The actual acquisition of Bethesda will happen somewhere in the first half of 2021, although the deal has already been concluded.
