Benfica Tiago Pinto Chief Executive Officer Departure

On 31 December, Benfica’s general manager of professional football, Tiago Pinto, will end his professional relationship with our club.

Eight years after joining Sport Lisboa e BenficaAt the invitation of President Luís Filipe Vieira, Tiago Pinto has decided to accept the challenge of leading the sports management of AS Roma, starting functions at the Italian club in early 2021.

“I will always be grateful to Benfica and our President for the opportunity that has been given to me. It’s been an intense eight years. I did my best and everyone who knows me knows that this decision was the most difficult of all that I have taken as manager of this club, “says Tiago Pinto.
