Decision time in the Champions League!
Some teams can already buy tickets for the knockout stage this week, while others are already threatened with extinction.
SPORT1 explains how it looks in individual groups.
Group A
Group A is led by FC Bayern Munich with nine points. Followed by Atlético Madrid (4), Lokomotiv Moscow (2) and RB Salzburg (1).
There are two scenarios in which Bayern qualify early for the knockout stage. First, Bayern win against Salzburg, secondly, Bayern draw and Lokomotiv do not win against Atlético.
Group B
Group B is also led by a German team. With five points, Borussia Mönchengladbach currently occupy first place, ahead of Shakhtar Donetsk (4), Real Madrid (4) and Inter (2).
None of these teams can either get to the round of 16 or be eliminated.
Group C
With three wins from three games, Manchester City lead Group C ahead of FC Porto (6), Olympiacos (3) and Olympique Marseille (0).
One point is enough for the Citizens against Olympiakos to qualify for the round of 16, while Marseille would have no chance of reaching the knockout stage if they lose.

Group D
Group D is dominated by Liverpool FC, still with no points lost. The second is Ajax Amsterdam (4), the third Atalanta Bergamo (4) and the fourth FC Midtjylland (0).
As with FC Bayern, there are also two scenarios for the Reds where the domestic champions would qualify prematurely to the knockout stage. First, Liverpool beat Atalanta, second, Liverpool drew and Ajax didn’t beat Midtjylland.
Bottom of the table in Midtjylland: no defeat. Because a defeat would be synonymous with the end.
Group E
In Group E, Chelsea FC and Sevilla FC compete for group victory. Both have already racked up seven points, with FK Krasnodar and Stade Rennes in third and fourth place with one point each.
For Chelsea, this means they can only progress if Sevilla score at least one point against Krasnodar.
If the Spaniards steal all three points from Russia, then a draw is enough for the Blues to make the transition to the knockout stage clear.
If both Chelsea and Sevilla win, both teams will go through.

Group F.
After two recent wins, BVB leads Group F by six points over Lazio Roma (5), FC Bruges (4) and Zenit St. Petersburg (1).
None of the teams can buy tickets for this week’s round of 16, but Zenit threatens a club with an early exit from the group stage.
The Russians would have no chance of advancing if they lose to Lazio Roma and BVB score three times against Bruges.
Group G
In Group G there are two title contenders, FC Barcelona and Juventus Turin. The Spaniards are currently in the lead with nine points, with Juve in second place (6th). Dynamo Kiew and Ferencváros Budapest follow in third and fourth place with one point each.
Barca can resolve the round of 16 ticket with a three. Juve too, provided that Barcelona have beaten Kiev.
If Juventus does not lose, a draw is enough for the Catalans.

Group H.
Despite there being a semifinalist and a previous year finalist in Group H with RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain, another team leads the pack: Manchester United: the Red Devils are in first place with six points, ahead of RB Leipzig (6). PSG follows in third place with three points, FK Basaksehir Istanbul (3) in last place.
Other than group F, it is the only group in which no team can purchase tickets for this week’s knockout stage.
Unlike Group F, there is no team that can be eliminated early.
As the direct confrontation decides in the Champions League group stage whether there is a draw, Manchester United could slide from top of the table to third if they lose again to Basaksehir and RB Leipzig score a point.
