Sports games were games that offered a technical dream section, especially in specific licenses. One of these has always been NBA 2K, which for the occasion has reserved an improved version from scratch. And while we saw a small excerpt in trailer form at the time, we now have the opportunity to see the NBA 2K21 next-generation primer gameplay.
And it is something that many are waiting for, because this time we are talking about an improvement that is paid for separately. And it looks like they’re trying to justify that extra price and that collector’s edition that includes it in the current generation. Now, thanks to these new hardware, a new milestone has been reached in the technical section of a game that, in itself, has been spectacular in recent editions.
With NBA 2K21 Next-Gen almost here, Visual Concepts Executive Producer Erick Boenisch and Game Director Mike Wang highlight some of the upcoming teasers and gameplay features gamers can look forward to, with new next-generation visuals!
Thanks to this first generation NBA 2K21 gameplay we can see that the changes are noticeable. One that affects your overall aesthetic is lighting. A more realistic recreation of the court was obtained, and without overdoing that reflection which could give an artificial sensation. And among the things that enhance realistic recreation the most are the players and their animations.
Without being able to ignore that there are moments that all seem the same, when the game starts you can observe a great diversity of movements and animations. This has always been the case with NBA 2K, but this time around the fluidity of the animations seems to take it to a new level. The level of the new generation of consoles, which allows you to adapt one of the most spectacular sports games to a much more spectacular level.
