This Sunday Ivo and Rui Oliveira won the silver medal at the Olympic madison of the European Championship which ends today in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, being the sixth medal that the Portuguese hold in the European Championships.
The Oliveira brothers finished behind the Spanish couple Mora – Torres and in front of the Italian Lamon – Moro. The Portuguese duo finished with 43 points, eight of Spain, which secured the title in the last sprint.
On Saturday Ivo had won the gold medal in the Individual Pursuit variant.
Previously, Iuri Leitão won gold in zero, silver in elimination and bronze in omnium, while Maria Martins was bronze in elimination.
