Apple officially unveiled its signature M1 chip and the first Mac models with M1. The M1, Apple’s first processor specifically designed for the Mac, was manufactured using the latest 5-nanometer process technology.
With this feature, M1 became the world’s first computer processor with 5nm architecture. Housing the eight-core processor unit, the M1 is equipped with 16 billion transistors, the highest number Apple has ever put on a chip.
