Another? Remastered NiOh library announced for PC and PS5

NiOh is definitely one of the best Soulslike ever created. First of all, it’s worth mentioning that I’m a huge fan of the genre and have almost every platinum game available in this niche. Surprisingly, despite the huge quality of the game, it didn’t get the same traction as Dark Souls, which is a real shame. Now, Team Ninja has decided to announce a flood of news that can help the game achieve the prominence it deserves!

Several titles will be released on February 5, 2021. This will be done with the aim of celebrating 4 years of the franchise. Check out the full list below:

• First, we have the full version of Nioh 2 coming to PlayStation 4.
• Secondly, the Remastered NiOh 2 version, with all the DLC coming to PlayStation 5.
• Also announced the Remastered NiOh 1 version, with all the DLCs also for PS5.
• Finally, we have the NiOh Collection, containing the two games with all the DLCs on PS5.
• The second game, as well as the DLCs, will be released on PC on the same date.

The games will have all the necessary improvements. New 4K textures and of course performance modes that will reach up to 120 FPS, making the experience as smooth as possible. Now you may be wondering something … NiOh 2 was released recently, it wouldn’t be fair to have to pay for the game again, right? Very correct and Team Ninja thought about it too! Players with the standard version will receive NiOh 2 Remastered for free on PS5. To receive DLC, you will need to have NiOh 2 Complete Edition. Very fair system for developers!

About NiOh 2

The PS blog text also talked about the third and final DLC of the second game. Called The First Samurai, players will have a new difficulty level and new bosses to battle against. As the name suggests, the content will cover the story of the legend of a young man who defeated the first Oni. It will be released on February 5, 2021.
