You may have already noticed, but it will be in the night from Wednesday to Thursday Animal Crossing: New Horizons a new Winter update which will introduce a lot of new content such as hairstyles, emotions, holidays and a warehouse expansion (we reported). One innovation that might raise some questions is this Data transfer function.
The data transfer function was recently explained in detail by Nintendo on a separate page. Of course we don’t want to hide the new details about this feature from you. Because there is soon two kinds a data transfer:
Transfer of an entire island
With this option, you transfer an entire island with all its inhabitants to a new Nintendo Switch console. This means that everything you got in Animal Crossing: New Horizons can be played on a new console. To use this feature, you must have access to both Nintendo Switch consoles. Transfer of a resident
If you only want to transfer a resident to a new Nintendo Switch console, not only the resident, but also their home and storage space will be transferred to a new console. The inhabitants of the original island are not taken with them. If an island is already saved on the new Nintendo Switch console, the new resident moves to the new island, but if there is no island on the new console, a new island is created with the resident as the founder of the island.
