With each new release of Apple products (smartphones, tablets, computers …) comes the debate about who will reign among consumers, if the Cupertino company or the rest of the technological universe.

The truth is that speaking without numbers in hand is complicated, even if there are always those who dare to promulgate their hypotheses based on their personal preferences. In this sense it is always preferable to listen to experts in the sector and one of the best known, Ming-Chi Kuo, TF Securities analyst, foreshadows good times for the bitten apple and all its conglomerate.

Greater demand than expected

The information that comes from Ming-Chi Kuo usually comes from good sources. The fact is that the analyst reported a few days ago that Apple products were having demand higher than expected by the company. This also includes the questionable iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max models.

However, where things haven’t worked out as expected (for now) is the iPhone 12 standard and in the iPhone 12 Mini, overlaid by the aforementioned good work of their big brothers (the Pro versions).

Compared to other Apple product ranges, the iPad Air, which received a redesign and major hardware updates in September, is experiencing a request for intonation between users. In this sense, Kuo also predicts that Apple’s tablet range will continue to be very prolific next year, predictably with the introduction of new technologies for them and for launch of more models.

From them, Apple watch continue to lead the smartwatch market and both the new Series 6 as if They also stood out, according to information from the Asian analyst. Something similar also happened with the new one range of Apple computers with its own processors, which sold much better than expected despite the abrupt change.

The only section where things don’t seem to be going so well is in AirPods. Headphone sales have stabilized and the sales percentage will drop between 5 and 10% annually.
