According to a recent study published November 12 in the journal Scientific report, University of Toronto researchers have found an unusual way to get rid of alcohol faster than usual using a “basic device”.
“It’s a very simple, low-tech device that could be produced anywhere in the world: no electronic devices, computers or filters are needed, “explained Dr. Fisherman, who conducted the study.
It is a small suitcase-sized appliance that uses a system of valves, connecting hoses, a mask and a small reservoir of compressed carbon dioxide, the statement said.
During hyperventilation, the body removes carbon dioxide from the blood along with alcohol. However, the process causes significant side effects including dizziness, numbness in the extremities, fainting, and more.
To overcome them, the researchers created a device that allows patients to do thishyperventiler alcohol by returning precisely the necessary amount of carbon dioxide in the body to keep it at a normal level in the blood.
