Graphic card RX 6800 appears again in a performance comparison against the RTX 2080 Ti Y RTX 3070, although it now does so with the Basemark tool.
AMD RX 6800 shows its superiority against RTX 3070 in Basemark
The instrument Basemark it is relatively new among benchmark applications and therefore not as widely used. However, it also helps us to make a comparison of this graphics card and give us an idea of its performance against the products offered by the green competition.
It should be noted that Basemark identifies the RX 6800 as the RX 6900 XT. This is a mistake because the tool is identifying all Navi 21 graphics as a “Radeon RX 6900 Series” GPU, but with the drivers we can know it’s the RX 6800 equipped with 16GB of VRAM memory.
The graphics card has been tested with drivers 27.20.14501.1206 released on November 5th and supporting the new RX 6000 graphics cards.
The test equipment is based on the AMD platform with the motherboard MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE and a processor Ryzen 9 3900X, which has 12 cores and 24 threads.

Going into the Basemark results, the Radeon RX 6800 scores around 14,365 points using the DirectX 12 API. With this score, the AMD graphics card would be slightly below RTX 2080 Ti, but it would be above the RTX 3070. The data is still good for AMD, considering this is the most refined Navi 21 GPU.
Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT go on sale this November 18th. Stay tuned.
