Huami, a company of the Xiaomi ecosystem, has just announced two new smartwatches to the global market. In fact, the Amazfit GTR 2 and the Amazfit GTS 2 had already been launched in China and, in the meantime, will arrive in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The new watches stand out for having integrated Alexa and for their autonomy, which can reach 38 days.
Huami, after the launch in China, has now unveiled the dates for the official arrival of the new Amazfit watches for the international market. Dates have already been set for the US and UK and related prices.
Amazfit GTR 2 will arrive in both markets on 30th October for £ 159 and $ 179.
These international versions, unlike the Chinese, come with Amazon's virtual assistant, Alexa, built in.
Amazfit GTS 2
The Amazfit GTS 2 is a watch with a rectangular screen, in fact, with a design that refers to the Apple Watch. It has a 1.65 "AMOLED screen with a resolution of 348 x 442 pixels, with an aluminum alloy frame and a plastic bracelet.
This model has a water resistance of 5 ATM and a 246 mAh battery. According to the product description, the battery can offer up to 20 days of runtime with basic use, and 20 days when used in normal mode.
It includes a biological data sensor that includes the ability to measure oxygen in the blood. In addition, it has an accelerometer, gyroscope, air pressure sensor, geomagnetic sensor and an ambient light sensor.
As connections it offers NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 2.4. It comes with speaker and microphone and is compatible with Android (5.0+) and iOS (10.0+).
Amazfit GTR 2
The GTR 2 version, on the other hand, has a more classic design, with a 1.39 ″ circular display and display with AMOLED technology. This is available in both sport and classic versions. The sports version has an aluminum alloy structure and the classic one is in stainless steel.
Here we have a 471mAh battery that can range from 14 days to 38 days of runtime. The sensors it integrates are accelerometer, gyroscope, air pressure sensor, three-axis geomagnetic sensor and one for ambient light. In this case the version does not have NFC, but allows Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection.
Amazfit GTR 2 also offers BioTracker 2 PPG, the biological data sensor that measures oxygen in the blood. Finally, it is also compatible with Android and iOS.
These smartwatches will then be available for the UK and the US starting this week. For the rest of the world, there are no indications on release dates.
