Leading blockchain platform Algorand is launching a new partnership program for developers and entrepreneurs based on its blockchain protocol, designed by crypto expert and Turing Award winner, Silvio Micali.

Program participants will benefit from access to resources and guidance to promote their decentralized applications faster as long as there is a clear business reason for their Algorand-based products.

Known as the “Algorand Partner Program (APP)”, the new program aims to equip successful candidates with skills in areas such as strategy formulation, market orientation along the lines of technology implementation.

Algorand plans to expand APP coverage through onboarding multiple partners globally to facilitate integrations with companies, governments and financial institutions leveraging their blockchain.

As part of the program, selected consulting firms, systems integrators, software developers and infrastructure providers will have access to organizations seeking resources to develop or adopt Algorand-based solutions.

“From DeFi startups to traditional financial institutions in a variety of industries and geographies, Algorand’s Partner Program will help companies move towards creating lasting value through blockchain adoption,” said W. Sean Ford, COO of Algorand, Inc.

The initial list of shortlisted candidates in the APP includes Applied Blockchain, Rocket Insights, Mentat Innovations, BLOCKCHAIN ITALIA.io, Nona Digital, Emali, Bluemi, Cartan, IntellectEU, Looptribe, Reach and the Koibanx financial asset tokenization platform . Other startups building successful applications will join the accelerator program, which will cover the full spectrum of business support.

The new Algorand partner program follows similar initiatives announced in Asia and Europe earlier this year. The organization, which has received funding and support from Eterna Capital and Borderless Capital, has unveiled up to $ 500,000 to fund developers and entrepreneurs who are looking to build applications and projects on its decentralized blockchain.

“After seeing Algorand’s commitment to building the ecosystem and supporting its users, we are excited to be part of the Algorand Partner Program as it will open up new opportunities for us and our customers as we build next generation blockchain solutions.” , said Chris Kelly, Product Manager at IntellectEU.

“We have been working with the Algorand team for nearly a year on a number of initiatives and have found them to be one of the most professional teams in our field,” added Adi Ben-Ari, founder and CEO of Applied Blockchain.
