After yesterday’s short teaser, there’s now the full, long trailer for The Midnight Sky, revealing a lot more about the story. In the teaser, lonely despair dwarfs Clooney’s features. The long preview output now indicates massive science fiction epic where the superstar takes a step back behind a larger set and bigger ideas.
The setting is original, it mixes approaches Apocalypse movies like I Am Legend with Deep Impact and Gravity. Anyone who does not want to immediately watch the whole movie is not a person.

When does The Midnight Sky start on Netflix?
George Clooney’s next directorial job ends up on Netflix, making The Midnight Sky one of the biggest science fiction highlights of 2020.
The Midnight Sky will be released on Netflix on December 23, 2020. With this, Netflix is relying on the Christmas business with Clooney power, as it did with Sandra Bullock and Bird Box. With Away you can bridge the time until then.
Synopsis: What is The Midnight Sky about?
At the center of the post-apocalyptic story is Augustine (George Clooney), an Arctic scientist trying to catch up with astronaut Sully (Felicity Jones) and her colleagues. He wants to stop her from going home to where she is global catastrophe I would have found. At the same time, the ether is Augustine’s only chance for a new life.
Earth and humans have drifted apart from each other. In the trailer, the Arctic already looks like an unknown planet on which Augustine got lost.
