The entertainment world is in mourning again, this time after the death of actor Alfonso Ortiz, considered one of the great talents of Colombian television, who has also been part of major international productions.
The actor of the Telemundo series “El final del paraiso”, where he shared credits with Carmen Villalobos and Fabián Ríos, among others, died in the city of Bogotá at the age of 72, according to family members.
Colombian newspaper El Espectador reported that Ortiz, who was also one of the most famous acting teachers in the country, and who was part of major theater groups like La Candelaria, suffered a sudden faint on one of the recordings of a Channel 13 project. November 6, which led him to be admitted to the emergency room. Doctors from Colombia Clinic reported that he had had a heart attack.
The aforementioned media added that the actor could not recover from the damage caused by his heart problems and recalled that Ortiz previously had severe coronary conditions.
