The General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control of the National Comprehensive Health Insurance Project has announced the accreditation of the first private hospital in Egypt to enter under the auspices of the National Health Insurance Project, to provide curative services.

The Saudi German Private Hospital organized an important celebration on the occasion of obtaining the accreditation certificate as the first accredited hospital in Egypt under the Comprehensive Health Insurance Act and in the framework of the Prime Minister’s decision to form the Board of Directors of the ‘General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control, the body in charge of accrediting health institutions to implement the global health insurance system.

Dr. Muhammad Hablas, Executive Director of the Saudi German Hospitals – Egypt, said during the ceremony: “We are proud to have obtained this accreditation, which confirms our strategy to introduce new medical thinking in the Egyptian market based on the application of international standards, as we wish to provide global experiences in our branch in Cairo with the introduction of the highest levels of health services ».

He pointed out that the hospital’s accreditation by the General Health Accreditation and Control Authority as the first accredited hospital in the Arab Republic of Egypt in accordance with the Global Health Insurance Act issued in October 2018 is the hospital’s commitment to health care and medical services, explaining that this accreditation came after registering with the authority via a visit.An evaluation carried out by the Commission team for the hospital in May 2018, which it is a pre-accreditation phase, to determine the degree of implementation of the standards required to implement the global health insurance system under the new law.
