Ann Gemmell is a 72-year-old woman who is terminally ill. Now, as her end draws near, she has only one goal: to find two children she was forced to give up for adoption in the 1970s.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the woman moved to Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, England, from Glasgow in the early 1970s after leaving her husband, John Gemmell.
He left his children Gail, Derek and Jane, with their grandmother in Scotland to start a new life with a new partner. In her new life, Ann had two more children, Edward and Frederick, who due to various problems was forced to give up for separate adoption in the 1970s.
Now it’s Gail, the eldest daughter, who is trying to find her stepbrothers and give her mother the pleasure of seeing her children again.
