Canada news So far 1,455 people in Canada have died from the Corona virus.

This number is expected to grow as more active cases across the country, “54999 active cases of the virus,” out of a total of 330,503 cases in Canada as of Monday, November 23.

While active cases may seem like nothing more than statistics with the outbreak continuing after more than eight months, healthcare workers in Canada are witnessing every hospitalized case and every death in intensive care.

Public health in Alberta showed the heartbreaking impact of the pandemic on frontline workers in a photo posted to their Twitter account on November 20.

According to the tweet, the photo shows Dr. Simon Demer Marcel, a doctor in Alberta’s intensive care unit, calling someone to inform him of the death of a loved one.

The death was one of 462 deaths in the county and was enough to bring Demir Marcel down.

Dr. Dina Henshaw, an Alberta health officer, spoke about Corona’s deaths at a press conference held earlier that week.

He said: “This is a very dangerous issue. It is necessary to control the spread of the virus and protect our health system, which is why I ask everyone, everywhere in the province, to adhere to all public health measures.”
