A mysterious new model of the Apple MacBook 16 appears listed via a Boot Camp update

Last week, Apple released an update for Training camp, its utility that can run Windows on a Mac. Although this update wouldn’t normally be notable, several users have noted that the update description refers to a new model of MacBook Pro 16 (2020).

While this could easily be a mistake, the MacBook Pro 16 is nearly a year away, so it’s definitely a worthy candidate for improvement in the near future. Apple launched a new high-end GPU option for the 16-inch MacBook Pro in June, but on its website it still lists all notebook configurations as 2019 models.

Launched in November 2019, the 16-inch MacBook Pro has thinner bezels, Magic Keyboard with a more reliable mechanism, 9th Gen Intel Core processors, up to 64GB RAM, up to 8TB SSD storage, AMD Radeon Pro 5000M on graphics side, as well as updated speakers and microphones. Pricing starts at $ 2,399.

As I wrote a few days ago, rumors suggest Apple is planning another event on November 17th to showcase its first MacBook with an Apple Silicon processor. However, it is believed that this solution will only be implemented for notebooks such as MacBook Air 13 and MacBook Pro 13 or possibly we will see an ultraportable 12-inch MacBook. However, following this incident, Apple may be preparing a bigger surprise than we expected.
