Contrary to what one might think, it is not a real organ, but an external box placed on the skin that will automatically deliver insulin to the diabetic patient.
This device works via Bluetooth: the glucose sensor placed on the skin will continuously measure the sugar level and transmit this information to an “intelligent” pump that will be able to calculate the insulin doses necessary to maintain the blood sugar level. patient, thanks to an algorithm.
