Although this is nothing new, Apple has decided to bet even more on wireless charging of the iPhone 12. In addition to being faster, it also has a number of new accessories created to further improve this charging.
What was not expected was that problems would occur and that users would have problems with wireless charging. The complaints are already many, but Apple has acknowledged that it is trying to fix the problem.
Wireless charging problems
While it's not a known issue, there are more and more reports of wireless charging issues on iPhone 12, across models. This is a problem that appears to be random and has no identified profile to emerge.
For no identified reason, the new iPhone simply stops charging on unofficial devices, but certified with the IQ standard. Furthermore, there is no model of brands or models that suffer from or cause this problem.
iPhone 12 does not charge properly
The strangest thing about this situation is that Apple peripherals don't seem to be causing the problem. Users who charge their equipment on MagSafe end up being able to use wireless charging without any issues or abnormal situations.
The recommendation that appeared on the Apple forums, including the brand itself, is to restart the iPhone 12. This effectively solves the problem, but apparently only for a limited time. The problem ends up coming back.
Apple recognizes the problem and will have a solution
Meanwhile, Apple Support has already acknowledged the problem, making sure the company is already working on its solution. However, no date has been put forward for the release of the solution for iPhone 12 users.
Most likely, the fix will appear in the next version of iOS, which is expected to be released later this year. Apple will likely gather other pending fixes and then bundle the solution to several issues into one update.
