The public health authority denied reports that 33 infected with Coronavirus were transferred from Mabara Port Said hospital to Abu Khalifa isolation hospital in Ismailia governorate.
And he said in a statement that he has designated the “Al-Mabarah and Al-Hayat Hospital of Fouad” in Port Said Governorate, through them, to deal with suspected or infected cases of Coronavirus within the governorate and to provide all necessary medical care to the injured.
It indicated that the Health Authority has full coordination among its hospitals in dealing with cases infected with the emerging coronavirus, especially in light of the continuing escalation in the number of infected people, according to pre-prepared scenarios, commensurate with the operational capacity of the hospitals .
The Public Health Authority has confirmed full coordination with the Central Chamber for Crisis Management at the Ministry of Health and Population as regards the reception and distribution of cases infected with Coronavirus, both internally and externally of Port Said.
He said: “As part of ongoing development work at Port Said Fever Hospital, the Public Health Care Authority confirms that it puts patients’ lives and health first and works hard with all of its medical staff and administrative to serve them, especially in light of this delicate health condition in Egypt and in the world.
The Public Health Authority invites citizens not to be guided by rumors and to ensure the correctness of what circulates, both from media institutions and from social media sites, for misleading news that will create confusion among citizens, underlining that all legal measures will be taken firmly against rumor mongers.
