Psyonix, video game developer from San Dieg, announces that Rocket Leagues Season 2 will be released on December 9th. Next season will celebrate the music that will be part of the new customization option called Anthem: new songs and content from Grammy-nominated EDM artist Kaskade, thanks to a partnership with Monstercat. Plus a new Rocket Pass, a new arena and more!
Rocket League Season 2 includes:
- HYMNS – This new customization option allows players Rocket League Select the music and play it after a goal in the arena. More information on the anthems will be available tomorrow on the official website.
- New music and content from Kaskade – Psyonix collaborates with a longtime partner, as well as electronic music label Monstercat and acclaimed producer Kaskade, to create a series of songs for Rocket League Tinker season 2. The first song “Flip Reset” starring WILL K is now available in the game and in season 2 trailer as well as available on streaming platforms (Here). Kaskade music and additional content will be available during the season.
- New Rocket Pass – This season’s Rocket Pass includes items that have a musical theme, some of which will pulsate and light up to the beat of the menu and arena music! The appropriate one Auto called R3MX and over 70 levels of unique items can be unlocked in the Rocket Pass Premium.
- Neon Fields Arena – This new EDM-inspired arena will be available in online playlists and private matches.
- Rocket Labs – Rocket Labs will return this season in a limited time mode for casual players.
- Additional updates – Season 2 brings new competition rewards, challenges, quality of life improvements, and sports store changes. More information on the changes in the Esports Shop will be available early next week.
