The Bogota band Morat and the Young Philharmonic of Colombia will combine their talents to create a virtual concert on December 5th, with which they will welcome Christmas.

The presentation, organized by the Colón Theater and the Bolívar Davivienda Foundation, will be orchestrated by the maestro Gustavo Parra, Nariño’s composer known for his long career as an arranger and orchestrator, during which he created projects for national and international artists such as Juanes, Andrea Echeverry, Alfredo Gutiérrez, Manuel Cubides and Placido Domingo.

For its part, Morat, a band from Bogotá created in 2015 and composed by Juan Pablo Isaza Piñeros, Juan Pablo Villamil Cortés, Simón Vargas Morales and Martín Vargas Morales, will give your distinctive pop and folk touch to the musical show. According to Isaza, the event will be “very special”, as it is a joint effort they have never made before.

The local band has been on a long tour in Spain and Latin America in recent years, where they have performed on stages such as the Movistar Arena in Bogotá, the Wizink Center in Madrid, the Teatro Real in Madrid and the National Auditorium in the City of Mexico.
