Even more impressive was looking at these results and comparing them to Snapdragon's current SoC. In particular the 865, which with this result finished below what this new SoC MediaCek will soon offer.
Proposal for the mid-range of smartphones
The data presented places the MediaTek proposal equal to what the 865 offers, but it beats Qualcomm's proposal in some key points with GPU or memory. While there is some time difference between them, it's an equally promising result.
With many brands preferring Qualcomm's 700 line over the 800 for price reasons, this is a major offering. MediaTek therefore has a proposal to attack mainly the mid-range and with results that for now are at the level of what is offered by high-end smartphones.
