The Ministry of Health must arrange 25 places where the vaccine will be stored. Vaccination will also be carried out in the same places, which are not yet known.
We may have the first doses of covid-19 vaccines by the end of 2020.
Health Minister Marek Krajčí announced that the vaccine could arrive in Slovakia in mid-December. It is likely to be a vaccine developed jointly by pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and BioNTech.
The vaccine should mark a turning point in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic that lasted months, which is closing schools, shops, weighing on health care and which has so far claimed 770 victims in our country.
