Jenke does a crazy beauty experiment: “I look beaten for days”

“The more I laugh, the more shit it looks”: Jenke von Wilmsdorff involuntarily laughs crookedly in front of the camera. One half of her face looks a little more plump than the other, fresher, smoother – simply younger. The other almost shows old Jenke, wrinkles adorning the face of the 54-year-old, known for his daring television experiments.

Meanwhile, the reporter switched from RTL to Pro7, starting his new channel with the show: “Jenke. The beauty experiment ». In doing so, Jenke is once again reaching her limits: facing her own face. He gives himself a hundred days to squirt, scrape, laser and peel off his face for 20 years. The peculiarity: one half of the face is treated only aesthetically, the other surgically. So Jenke wants to find out which methods work best. At the end of the experiment, he wants to look like his thirty-five again, not fifty-five.

What Jenke will soon have to accomplish: The price for extreme beauty is high. If you want to look younger and are ready to take drastic measures, you need to show not only lots of money, but also time, discipline and patience – and put aside a pain or two.

One half of Jenkes’s face is treated by a beautician, the other half by a surgeon

The beautician’s measures, which only apply to Jenke’s left half of her face, are more like a wellness program: once a week she gets a half face massage, blood circulation masks, and chemical peels. At home, Jenke has to follow a strict beauty regimen, with lots of creams, serums and a UV wand to treat her skin.

The right half of the face is instead treated by the surgeon: initially only with non-invasive methods, i.e. procedures that do not change the face forever, but only have a temporary effect. Jenke Botox can be injected, cheeks plumped with hyaluronic acid, chin area defined, lips injected. All this is crowned by injections of lactic acid against wrinkles and a vampire facelift, in which the skin is pierced with needles and treated with plasma obtained from one’s own blood. It sounds strange, it also looks like this: Jenkes’ face is red and swollen after the treatment.

All the pain, the needles, the toxins getting under your skin – is that enough? Is it worth taking all these steps just to look younger? Meanwhile, Jenke struggles with himself. How far are you willing to go, what steps are still acceptable, where perhaps an addiction to cosmetic interventions begins, just to reach the goal of looking 20 years younger? And does Jenke still like it? Standing in front of the mirror, perplexed:

Sure, it takes time for the beauty effect to appear: “I look dejected for days – but younger?” Observes Jenke after numerous interventions. The body sensation is not necessarily pleasant after the more than 20,000 punctures the reporter made in a few weeks: “Not only do I look like a hedgehog, but I also feel like it.”

Also, Jenke looks more and more “crooked”: even though she only has minor surgeries performed on the right half of her face, the difference with the left half becomes more and more evident. At the latest when he is injected with the right half of his lips, which then hangs a little sadly.

After a lot of back and forth, Jenke finally decides to take the last step to look 20 years younger at the end of the experiment. He is under the knife, under general anesthesia. A surgeon now performs irreversible interventions: the skin of the right half of the face is injected with autologous fat, burned with a Fraxel CO2 laser to eliminate wrinkles, the skin of the neck is firmed with a laser, something Skin removed from the eyelid.

More information on cosmetic surgery:

The result at first seems sobering, more painful than beautiful. It will take several weeks for everything to heal.

Jenke doesn’t look 20 years younger – after an extreme experiment she has to be operated on again

In the end, the reporter doesn’t get the result he hoped for: he has the condition of his skin measured by a dermatologist, such as how tight it is now compared to before the surgery or how his dark circles and bags under his eyes are. Jenke couldn’t turn the clock back 20 years: but the left side of her face, which has been treated by the beautician, looks eight years younger. The right half of the face also eleven.

Jenke has to get used to her new look first. He wouldn’t want to repeat the whole program, it’s not worth it. Yet he must return to the operating room again: Alone to surgically align the left side of the face with the right.
