Miley Cyrus isn’t too happy that her supporters couldn’t get physical copies of Plastic hearts when they should have.
As per NME, the singer took to Twitter to respond to fans who were unable to get their hands on a physical copy of her latest album.
Cyrus released his seventh studio album on Friday, November 27, but it wasn’t long before a problem was noticed.
In the US, physical copies were not available on the actual release date due to physical music inventory limitations of major retailers ahead of Black Friday. Such as the release date of Plastic hearts dropped on the same date, it was simply a case of terrible timing.
His impatient fans took to social media to show their frustrations at not receiving their physical pre-orders and not being able to find any copies in stores.

Two days later, Cyrus quickly released a response to appease his supporters. “My fans are everything to me and knowing that you are disappointed when you go to the shops / call / check stock to be disappointed, I am equally / if not more frustrated,” she wrote in a Twitter post.
“When I picked 11/27 THE SUGGESTED DATE for the album release, my team and I were never told that major retailers don’t stock physical albums on Black Friday and wouldn’t receive copies of PH until a few weeks after the release.
The disc packaging is intimate, honest and a visual reflection of the sound of my new record that I am so proud of. It was created by ME personally at home making art FOR YOU. I want it in your hands! “
He finished: “I got over guilt. It’s a waste of time and energy. This album was a labor of love and nothing can sabotage my admiration for the record that my collaborators and I created.”
Plastic hearts was one of the most anticipated albums of 2020 and showed Cyrus’ new direction of classic rock. It contains the tracks “Midnight Sky”, “High”, as well as intriguing collaborations with Joan Jett (“Bad Karma”) and Dua Lipa (“Prisoner”).
