The fight against Roy Jones Jr had a charitable nature.
Mike Tyson hinted at the destructive power he once had in boxing, returning to the ring on Saturday to face Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition fight in his fifties.
Tyson, 54, had some impressive moments, as did Jones, 51, during the bout which unofficially ended in a draw, according to rumors of World Boxing Council judges invited to one side of the ring.
The fight, which was unofficial, consisted of eight rounds, each lasting two minutes. At the end of an unusual performance at the Staples Center, the two opponents looked smiling and healthy.
“This is better than fighting for the championships,” Tyson said of the heavyweight show, which has raised money for various charities.

The former heavyweight champion attracted attention, fighting for the first time in 15 years.
He did his best to show off the fitness that made him a legend for a generation of boxing fans.
