Announcer Carlos Eduardo “Charlie” Ball died this Sunday in Caracas at the age of 68. He suffered a sudden heart attack in the morning.

One of the first announcers of Éxitos 1090, was currently driving Charlie Ball Show at the Éxitos Circuit, where he was also in charge of a space on weekends. He started working with Enrique Cuscó Nogues in the early 1970s. Since then, he has been part of the Unión Radio family for 50 years.

Charlie Ball is also remembered for being the voice of the show Fortune star, broadcast by Venevisión, and directed by Orlando Urdaneta, then Corina Azopardo and also the late Juan Manuel Montesinos. “Master” they called him. He worked for 30 years on the La Colina channel.

One of the best voices on the radio in Venezuela, Carlos Eduardo Ball shared in his programs facts and curiosities related to the world of entertainment, but above all to music. With a very personal style, he has earned the esteem and respect of several generations.
