A Huawei began recruiting for Beta Testers EMUI 11 in the series Huawei P40 series in September, as we know, this is only a first step to reach our phones.
Huawei will now launch a new EMUI 11 update for P40 series users who have signed up for the EMUI 11 Beta Test. This update includes new features that include a custom night theme, new airplane gestures, and improvements in multi-window mode.
According to the latest information, P40 series users will soon receive a stable EMUI 11 version.

Huawei P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro +
Version: Huawei P40 series beta test to receive EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.155 updated from 11.0.0.145.
New features and functionalities:
Themes: Added “Starry Night” theme
AI Air Control: Wave hand right to turn pages and read, flip through photos, press in the air to answer calls or pause music
Smart multi-window: An issue with the inability to adjust the floating window size horizontally has been resolved.

- This update is currently being rolled out in China.
- The update is released in batches, so it may take some time to reach your device.
- The update will not delete any data
UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS FOR HUAWEI P40 SERIES:
Install via Settings:
- Open Definitions
- Click Asystem updates
- Open Software update
- To touch Check for updates
- If an update is available, click Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
