Fortune Barisal took its first win with a first-rate taste of Minister Group Rajshahi. Barisal won by 5 wickets on Saturday at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur.
Barisal was on track for a big win by keeping Rajshahi at 133 runs. Eventually, they quickly lost a few wickets, but Tamim returned to win the team. The unbeaten 6 out of 61 balls came from captain Barisal’s bat.
In the first half of the match, Kamrul Rabbi took 4 wickets for 21 runs with 3 wickets in the last over. Miraj took 2 runs for 18 runs in 4 overs.
Batting after losing the pitch, Rajshahi lost not a single wicket in the power play. However, the rush was not excessive. Only 39 runs in 6 overs. Captain Nazmul Hossain played some aggressive shots, but another opening Anisul Islam Emon was not getting the timing right.
It is good to lose wickets while walking the path of aggression. Abu Zaid’s ball was taken by midfielder Tamim Iqbal (24 out of 19 balls).
