Kovid 19 is followed by another dangerous pandemic

Disinformation about the coronavirus is spreading just like the virus itself, at blazing speed. In February, the World Health Organization issued a warning about “infodemic,” a wave of fake news and misinformation about the new deadly disease on social networks.

The coronavirus is the first pandemic in history where technology and social media are widely used to keep people informed, productive and connected. However, the ability for everyone to publish their opinion, share unverified information, or believe everything they read has led to massive disinformation about the coronavirus.

“It’s a bioweapon made to reduce the population” or “The Coronavirus is to vaccinate and monitor us like that” are just some of the phrases people use lightly.

Last year, the World Health Organization identified citizens’ reluctance to get vaccinated as one of the ten biggest threats to global health, months before the coronavirus began affecting the world.

And today, as the biggest threat to vaccination, they cite lies about the effect of the vaccine.

WHO was forced to devote an entire section of the site to exposing false claims. The most dangerous myth about the coronavirus is that it doesn’t exist. But then there are many other conspiracy theories.

To clarify: a pet cannot pass kovid 19 to you, and the 5G network has nothing to do with the spread of this virus. Drinking methanol, ethanol or bleach does not prevent kovid 19 and can be extremely dangerous. Pneumonia vaccines also can’t protect you from the coronavirus, nor can garlic.

The price of spreading disinformation today can be a loss of life, so it is everyone’s responsibility to educate themselves as much as possible and critically observe the gossip served.
