At least one model in the upcoming series will have this particularity, according to a tech analyst.
The next-generation iPhone, due out next year, could feature a model without a charging port, says tech analyst and blogger Jon Prosser.
On his YouTube channel “Front Page Tech”, the expert ensures that at least one Apple model will not have a connector. Instead, users will be offered the wireless charger MagSafe.
The MagSafe charging standard was unveiled on October 13 along with the new iPhone 12.
The analyst excludes that the US giant will accept the use of the connector USB-C on their “smartphones”. According to him, the standard Equation created by Apple will remain until such time as all terminals get rid of the ports.
Prosser said Apple’s ultimate goal is to develop devices no doorSo there’s no reason the company adopts the universal connector in between, rejecting its patented Lightning, which generates huge profits.
