27 November 2020 – The latest version of Windows 10 is currently on 8.8% of all Windows PCs. The feature update released in May with the 2004 identifier is the most used.
Adduplex’s market analysts released November data from their survey of the market share of individual versions of Windows. According to the study, the feature update released in spring with the 2004 identifier is currently the most used version with a share of 37.6%. This is followed by the 1909 version, which now has a good year, with a share of 36.4%. The latest incarnation of Windows with the 20H2 identifier can now be found just weeks after the general release on 8.8% of all Windows PCs. The percentage of PCs running Windows versions of 2018 and even earlier is still 8.6%. Microsoft has already discontinued support for these versions.
Adduplex data is based on usage data from 5,000 Microsoft Store apps using the Adduplex SDK. For this analysis, data from 100,000 computers with a baseline date of November 25 was evaluated. (rd)
