Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 67 of the Coronaviruses have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving necessary medical treatment and recovery according to guidelines from the World Health Organization. This brings the total of those recovering from the virus to 102,268 cases to date.
Dr Khaled Mujahid, the Minister of Health and Population’s Advisor for Media and an official spokesperson for the ministry, said 368 new cases have been registered and tested positive in laboratory tests of the virus, as part of the necessary testing procedures. surveillance, investigation and examination conducted by the ministry under the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 11 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid said the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus to date on Thursday is 114,475 cases, including 102,268 cases that have been treated and 6,596 deaths.
