Microsoft Teams, the collaboration tool of the Redmond giant, is going from strength to strength. Its growth is unstoppable and there is not a week without news coming or about to arrive on the platform. On this occasion, according to the latest information, we must prepare for great changes and improvements for both Windows 10 and MacOS. Let’s go with them!

Teams improves its integration with SharePoint and the MacOS client.

According to the roadmap, Microsoft is working on a new one feature that would allow SharePoint users to integrate Teams. This would allow them to easily access news, documents, group activities and more. Within Teams itself, we can select the “Add a team” option and choose the SharePoint content as a card or label.

In another vein, the Redmond folks would be preparing to add an option that will allow us to it also shows the sound of our PC when we share our desktop or a window both in MacOs. This is a feature that has always been present in Windows.

New calling experience and multi-window enhancements

The third novelty is known under the name of “Moderation of the meeting”. Thanks to it, meeting moderators can temporarily disable chat, review comments and reactivate it later.

Additionally, the Teams team has promised that it will start launching a file in December new calling experience which will show our contacts, voicemails and call history in one place. We will also be able to join a call in the future or call again with a simple click.

On the other hand, Microsoft’s plans keep improving the multi-window experience which users can already enjoy and which allows them to separate calls and meetings in different windows. Apparently, those from Redmond are focused on improving the performance of this feature.

Other options for the status panel

The news does not end there, but also add the guys from Microsoft Teams new options to the status panel. This will allow Windows 10 users to select more specific time periods such as “away for 30 minutes”.
