French publication Business Book GP revealed the millionaire salaries of all Formula 1 drivers. The outlet monitors the sport’s finances annually and in detail.
No surprise Lewis Hamilton, the best driver in Formula 1, is also at the top of the profit chart. This year he brought home 55.7 million of dollars and is expected to receive an additional $ 16 million in sponsorship for the full year of 2020.
In second place there is Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari, which won 41.5 million dollars this year. However, the German is currently 13th in this year’s race standings, which may lead Ferrari to question whether they are getting a sufficient return on their sizable investment.
The Australian Daniel Ricciardo ranks third in terms of earnings. The Renault driver won 23.7 million dollars, ahead of the Dutch Max Verstappen, which is fourth in the list with 18.9 million dollars.
